ROGG-west PD&E (Project Development & Environment) study

Project location:  15.8 miles  along US41 between SR29 and San Marco Blvd (CR92).  This is a western segment of the River of Grass Greenway (ROGG).

Project description: technical study for developmet of a shared-use pathway, investigating potential route alignments with consideration for environmental, cultural, and logistical conditions.

Funding:  FDOT Transportation Enhancement Grant

Project Manager:  Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 1 (Aaron Kaster)

Prime Consultant: American Consulting Engineers ("American")

Start: ~July 1, 2012

Recent activities:

March 2013:  project website activated

Feb 2013:  participated in 5-day ROGG public work session held in east Naples for Master Plan Study.

Jan 2013:  collecting technical data throughout project area.  

TBA: Public participation event to discuss pathway alignment alternatives is expected in mid-2013.
